volchik_lamyraWe got a patient with hepatopulmonary syndrome. A young man by our standards, mere 52, but the attending speaks as if he is terminal. I will read up on that thing.
We went on some home visits as usual. People are so nice. We saw an elderly woman. Her daughter, wo looks 15 years younger than she actually is, pointed to mom's brown hair: "She was completely white before Sunday! I will not leave her with my sister anymore, or before I know it, she will be a redhead!"
